Introducing the SLV Shop’s Collection No. 1: The Paris Toile

The very first collection from Sarah La Vie is finally LIVE! This launch features the Paris Toile, a gorgeous take on traditional French toile created from personally hand-drawn images from my trips to Paris. This pattern represents a leap into a new medium since it is my first official SLV pattern. I chose several film photos that I took on my last few trips to Paris to create motifs and then pieced them together like a repeating puzzle. The pattern features the water lily bride at Monet’s garden, Venus de Milo from the Louvre, peonies from a flower market, the Colonnes de Buren art installation at the Palais Royal, a classic cafe bistro set, the stairs in the Musée Rodin, and a set of chairs + tree from the Jardin du Luxembourg.

For this launch’s products, I chose several different items that I felt were essential enough to warrant being toile-iffied. My personal faves are the Spiral Notebook and Tough iPhone Case.
